On November 6th BOCES Cosmetology
students toured the Community Living Skills facility in Walton to learn more
about The Arc of Delaware County and receive training. Then on November 13th
five ladies, including Kelly Piskacek, Carol Miller, Deb Elliot and Marlana Volpe and another individual joined these students in participating in the BOCES Cosmetology
program led by Kelly Cross, Program Director. These five ladies put some “skin
into the game” by purchasing some of their own supplies for use during the
class. They learned all about good health, skin, hair, and nail care and had
much fun learning from each other and the BOCES students using the skills they
acquired during class.
On January 22nd they had a celebration
